The Murder Trail
Trek. Hunt clues. Solve the murder.
A real trek up a real hill, with a murder investigation folded into it. Six checkpoints. Actors waiting at each one. Solve it before the summit or walk back down knowing you failed.

This is the one people tell other people about.
You start before sunrise at the base village. By the first checkpoint you've met a witness who is definitely hiding something. By the third you've had to physically earn a clue. By the sixth you're at the top of a hill in Maharashtra arguing with your own team about a timeline.
The trek is genuinely a trek, three hours of walking, moderate grade, no technical climbing. The mystery is genuinely a mystery. Neither one is decoration for the other.
If your group would rather not have a corpse involved, the same route runs as a treasure hunt. Same checkpoints, same actors, considerably less death.
How it works
- 01
Pickup at 5:30am
From Lonavala station. Yes, that early. The light at checkpoint two is the entire reason.
- 02
Six checkpoints, six fragments
Each one gives up one piece of the story, but only after you've earned it. Some are puzzles. Some are physical. One is just a conversation with a very good liar.
- 03
Teams of four to six
Come as a group or get assigned one at the base. Assigned teams win about as often.
- 04
Breakfast at the top
Included. Eaten while somebody explains why their theory was right all along.
