Terms

A ticket is a licence to attend one event, on the date and at the time printed on it. It is not a right to a specific seat, and for most of our formats there are no seats.

Your booking is confirmed only once payment is verified on our side. If a payment fails after you've been shown a confirmation screen, we'll email you and no money will have left your account.

Tickets are transferable, free, at any time before the event, just forward the confirmation. The only exception is workshops, where we need to know who's in the group.

Doors open 20 minutes before. We start on time. If you arrive after a format has begun we'll get you in if we can, but for some experiences a late entry breaks the story for everyone else and we may not be able to.

Age limits are on every event page and we do check ID at the door.

For experiences at a private address, the exact location is sent 24 hours before by message. That is part of the format, not an oversight.

Our experiences involve interacting with actors and other guests. Participation is invited, never forced. You can step back from any round, at any point, by telling any member of our team.

We may remove anyone whose behaviour makes the experience unsafe or unpleasant for others, without a refund. This has happened twice in seven years and both times it was the right call.

The Murder Trail and City Quest involve real walking over real terrain. Assess your own fitness honestly. Tell us about injuries or conditions when you book, the question is on the form for a reason.

Desi Squid Games involves running and physical contact with the ground. Wear appropriate shoes.

We photograph some public events for our own use. Tell any host on the night if you'd rather not appear and we'll work around you, no explanation needed.

If we have to change a date, time or venue, you'll be emailed as soon as we know, and you can take a full refund if the new details don't work for you.
